O.M.E.G.A. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supporting emergency preparedness and emergency response along the Colorado Front Range. O.M.E.G.A. consists of volunteers trained and certified in currently accepted emergency response techniques. O.M.E.G.A. is an available resource to any official law enforcement, fire or otherwise designated incident command agency, including state, county and municipal offices of emergency management and other SAR units, including ARES, CAP, CERT and MRC. Our services are provided free of charge to aid qualified agencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
O.M.E.G.A. operates on donations from the community. None of our members are paid. 100% of our staff donates their time and personal resources to the success of our mission. All members are responsible for their own personal deployment gear -- team funds are not used to supplement personal equipment. We also use team gear for large or long term deployments to be able to support the group response. Gear included in this category is obtained using O.M.E.G.A.'s operating funds and may include:
- Backpack ($50+)

- Summer (basic) mission clothing ($100+)
- Winter (environmental) mission clothing ($300+)
- First aid kit ($50+)
- Communications gear, if licensed ($300+)

- Vertical gear, if certified ($300+)
- Dive gear, if certified ($500+)
There are also administrative team expenses that may include the following:
- Litters, backboards, skeds and OSSes
- Generators and fuel
- Repeaters and agency radios
- Extended use medical supplies

Additionally we support many training and public education events throughout the year that require flyers, informational brochures, training materials, social and professional media interaction and similar outreach. Our regular community outreach includes the following types of events:
- Office equipment and supplies
- Insurance -- yes, we have to be covered!
- Training costs and professional association fees (group, not individual)
O.M.E.G.A. is sincerely grateful for the public support of our projects. Your generous donations allow us to maintain mission ready status and to continue our outreach work to educate and support the community. We are happy to discuss donations of money, in-kind donations and donations of gear/supplies for the team to use. Donations can be made by check to our mailing address or by credit card via the PayPal donation gateway. If you have questions regarding your donation or have a request that it be used in a particular way or for a particular discipline, please contact our Treasurer directly. We are also always looking for volunteers willing to contribute time and personal skills, either as an auxiliary resource or as a deployable team member.

Thank you for your interest in donating to help support the mission of O.M.E.G.A. Your generous donations allow us to maintain mission ready status and to fund on-going operations. O.M.E.G.A. is a volunteer service organization that is funded solely by donations from community members, businesses and other entities that value our services. We support public safety projects ranging from education to search and rescue. There is never a charge for our services.
O.M.E.G.A. does not receive any regular funding from local, state or federal governments, making fundraising a necessary effort. Our public safety, rescue and educational projects requires a wide variety of rescue gear, all of which is funded by individual donations, corporate support and occassional grants. O.M.E.G.A. is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, making all donations tax deductible and, no matter what the amount, provide the group with valuable equipment and resources necessary to complete our missions.
